What is the Matchmaking section and how do you configure 1-to-1 Meetings?

Discover the different options of available 1-to-1 Meetings and choose the most suitable one for your event.

Learn about the types of 1-to-1 Meetings sessions you can create in the Meetings panel:

1. MEETINGS 1-TO-1 FOR EVERYONE 🏳️: These are meetings where all attendees of your event have the possibility to request meetings with each other. You can display profile suggestions to encourage quality exchanges. We explain how to do it here.

Create MEETINGS 1-TO-1 FOR EVERYONE when you want to generate a variety of interactions among your attendees without profile or role restrictions.

2. MEETINGS WITH EXHIBITORS 🏠: These are meetings where the hosts are all the stand administrators linked to them in the Exhibitors section of the Virtual Event or App panel. To learn how to do it, click here.

If you have contracted Premium Exhibitors, you will have this option available for them. What are Premium Exhibitors?

3. ROLE-BASED 1-TO-1 MEETINGS 🗨️: When you want to create meetings between specific roles or types of profiles, choose this mode of 1-to-1 Meetings. How to configure it? Follow these instructions.

ROLE-BASED 1-TO-1 MEETINGS are usually chosen for events where there are groups of complementary profiles, for example: buyers and suppliers, sellers and importers, companies with job offers and potential employees.

4. PREFERENCE-BASED 1-TO-1 MEETINGS 👑: Here, attendees indicate with whom they would like to meet, and you, as the organizer, take care of scheduling the agendas and proposing quality meetings to the attendees. This option is especially suitable for events with multiple profiles.

By configuring PREFERENCE-BASED 1-TO-1 MEETINGS, you ensure maximizing the time attendees spend on meetings. Interested? Click here, and we'll tell you more.

You can track the status of the meetings in real-time by accessing the meeting tables in the Matchmaking or Meetings in Exhibitors sections by clicking on the ℹ️ Information icon. On one hand, you will see if a meeting is requested or already confirmed. On the other hand, for meetings configured with video calls, you can know the real-time status of that meeting: "Waiting," "In progress," "Completed," or "Not held", as appropriate.
