What are Virtual Rooms and what are they for?

With virtual rooms you can create sessions using BlueJeans video call technology and allow attendees to participate in a workshop and interact with each other.

What are virtual rooms?

Virtual rooms are rooms that are created specifically for a workshop-type session with attendees, where attendees are allowed to have a camera and microphone.

This is a type of session where there is bidirectionality and the audience has a participatory role in the session.

Attendees access these rooms directly through a session in the agenda, where the BlueJeans video call that has been created specifically for that workshop is activated.

YES 🙋! The advantage with BlueJeans is that it is integrated into the Meetmaps platform, you don't need to leave it to connect to the videoconference, keeping all the interaction functionalities between attendees, such as chat or questions to the speaker 💪.

How to create a virtual room or workshop with Bluejeans?

You will have to create the session in the agenda as usual, indicating a title, start and end date and time 👉 What is the agenda section and how to create a session?
Then contact your account manager to generate the URL for the video conference in Bluejeans.

This URL must be inserted in the "Activate Streaming" field of the agenda session. To find out how to do this, click 👉 here.

By doing so, access to the session will be enabled through the "Room" button in the event.

TIP 💡: you can create itineraries so that the sessions are only visible to some users. If you want to know how the itineraries work click 👉here.
