Discover how to limit the number of registrations for certain sessions
What are workshop-type sessions?
Workshop-type sessions are designed to limit the number of registrants to a limited number of attendees.
IMPORTANT ❗Please note that this type of agenda sessions is only available with certain licenses. Contact the Meetmaps team if you're interested in them.
How are they configured?
1. Create a workshop-type session in the Agenda module.
2. Fill in all the details you want to include in the session.
3. In the "3. Session Configuration" section, you'll have various customization options:
- Registration limit per session: how many attendees can register for the session.
- Waitlist: if the workshop is already 100% occupied, attendees can be added to the waitlist (via the App and EVweb).
- Registration options:
- Allow registration from the event registration form: attendees can register from the form.
- Allow registration from the agenda: attendees can also be added to the waitlist via the App and EVweb if you've activated it.
IMPORTANT❗If you want attendees to not be able to register for workshop-type sessions that occur at the same time or limit the number of workshop registrations per attendee:
NOTE 🗒️: there's an automatic email linked to registration from the agenda.
- When purchasing a session from the event.

- Payment session: sessions can be free or paid.
TIP 💡From the Agenda > Participant Management section, you can:
- View the list of registrants for workshop-type sessions.
- Add a registrant manually.
- Remove a registrant.
TIP 💡From the Agenda > Sessions section, you can download the list of registrants in .csv format.
How does the waitlist work?
It's only visible on the App and EVweb.
When an attendee is added to the waitlist for a session and a spot becomes available, attendees will be automatically added to the workshop based on their registration order on the waitlist.
