What is the news module?

The news module allows you to add information related to the event to provide more details to the attendees. This module is available for the Landing💻& the App📱(not for the Web).

How to create news 📰?

NOTE 📃: Make sure to activate the news module in the modules section. To know how to do it, see the article How to configure the modules? If you cannot activate it from modules, contact a member of the Meetmaps team, as it will be a module that needs to be activated from our end.

1. In App & Web > News click on the "Create news+" button.

2. In the drop-down box, fill in the news details:

  • Title
  • Subtitle
  • Description
  • Body
  • Photos
  • Location
  • Date of publication
  • Categories
  • Tags
  • Video URL

NOTE 📃: If you have your event in several languages, make sure to create the news in all of them.

IMPORTANT ❗When adding photos to the news, make sure to leave sufficient top and bottom margins to avoid cutting off the photo on different screens where it is displayed in the App & Landing.

  • Make it visible with the “eye 👁️” button.
  •  Delete it with the “Delete” 🗑️ button.
  • Edit the content with the “Edit”📝 button.

EXPORTS 🔢 : By clicking on the Actions button you will be able to see which attendees have viewed the news (email, name and surname), which news in particular, the date of consultation and time by downloading the file in .csv format.

Landing

1. In Registration > landing activate the News module so that they can be viewed on the event landing page.

2. Upon entering the landing page, attendees will be able to select the news they want to read by clicking on it.
