Discover the utility of the Profile Tab of the Property module so you can make the best of it at your event.
The Profile tab in the Properties module is used to define the properties that you want to make public (and therefore, can be viewed by any other attendee) of an attendee when clicking on their profile. It is likely that you have some fields in your database that are private and therefore cannot be viewed by other users, but from this section you can choose which ones you want to make public and therefore will form the Attendee Profile.
In addition, they are also the properties that an ttendee can see on their own profile.
From this section you will be able to:
- View the properties (fields) that you have selected to be displayed in the attendee's profile.
- Add a Property: Click on the "Add property +" button to define a new property that you want to be visible.
NOTE 🗒️: Use a property that you already have information for in the database, otherwise, when viewing the attendee's profile it will appear empty.
The properties that you define to be displayed here should have been filled out in the Registration Form, Join Form, or Edit Profile. You should not introduce a new property that cannot be filled out in any of these sections.
- To change the order of the properties in the Profile according to your preference for how they appear in the attendee's profile, click on the six dots on the right of the selected Property and drag it up or down while holding the cursor.
TIP 💡: Open another tab with the list of attendees and after changing the order of the properties, refresh the page and observe how the order of the columns has changed.
To edit the properties that have already been created with the information that you are interested in, click on the "Edit" button of the property that you want to edit.
Remember that in the pop-up that appears when you press the "Edit" button, you can:
- Change the name of the selected property.
- You can activate the "Featured in profile" switch for properties that are of the Unique Selection type and it will highlight the option that the attendee has selected in the attendee's profile. Remember that only one property can be featured. Some examples are shown below. In the case of Leonardo, it highlights that he is from the Software department (the colors of the highlight are customizable), and in the case of Will, it highlights that he is from the AI department
- You can activate the "Filter in attendee list" switch if you want filters to be applied to search for attendees in the Attendee List section of your event. This can be applied to properties with both Unique and Multiple Selection.
NOTE 🗒️: Remember that in order to change the language of the Properties in your virtual event, you must click on the globe button that you will find next to the "Add property +" button.
