How to create a Poll?

Discover how to create a poll in your event to know the attendees opinions

Polls are the best way to ask the attendees different questions. They can be used to validate content, to ensure that the content was properly understood, to vote the best project and even to know the attendees opinion about the event

Before starting to configure a poll you have to make sure that the "Activate Polls on Live" switch is on. To activate it, go to the Agenda, click on the 3 dots, then Edit Section. There you will have 3 sections, go to the 3rd one, activate the switch and save your changes. 

How to create a Poll?

To create a poll within a previously created agenda session, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Live Polls module on the sidebar menu. Click on "Sessions" and choose the one that will be linked with the poll.
   
2. Once you have selected the session, click on "Add poll +" 
   
3. Fill in the pop up screen with the needed information
   - Write the question
   - Enter the different options, if you need more answers click on " + Add option"
   
   If you activate the "Show results after vote" switch, users will be able to see the results after sending their vote.
   If you activate the  "Can't change the vote" switch, users won´t be able to modify their result after voting. 

Where can I see the poll in the Virtual Event Web?

To visualize the poll, go to the Agenda, access the streaming session and you will see a "Polls" tab. Once the polls are activated from the dashboard, they will appear on the attendees‘ screen.
