How to configure the Home Web?

Discover how to configure and make the most of the homepage or main page of your Virtual Web Event

Available for these licenses:

 Event App Starter, Pro, Enterprise

 Virtual Venue Starter, Pro, Enterprise

 Suite Starter, Pro, Enterprise

Configuration

In App & Web > Home > Home Web, begin the configurations:

1. Set a cover image with dimensions of 1280x1024 px for Web 💻 and 720x375 px for mobile 📱

There is the option to activate the switches for:

• Show text: The event name, as indicated in the General Information section, will appear in the center of the image.
• Show Date: The event date, as indicated in the General Information section, will appear in the center of the image.
• Shadow Hero: Darkens the image.

Modules

Activate the buttons for the modules you want to have active on the Home.

• Countdown: This is the countdown to the start date of your event. It disappears once the event is live. It displays the date and time you specified in the General Information section.
• General Information: This section contains the information you configured in the following areas:
  • General Information: The private description with the welcome message or event details.
  • Settings > Design: If you added a main image for the desktop or mobile website.
  • Streaming: If you inserted a video in the Streaming > Activate on Main Screen section.

• Speakers: For the display of speakers, you have 3 types of layouts: Basic, Pro, and Pro Hover. You can select your preference by clicking on the "Edit" button.

• Exhibitors: There are 3 types of layouts: Default, Full, and Full Hover. Choose your preferred layout by clicking the "Edit" button in the Displays module.

• Contact: You can provide an email and phone contact for attendees to get in touch with the event organization.

Module creation

It is also possible to add modules to the Home Web by clicking on "Add module+".

The types of modules you can create are:

• HTML Page: An HTML page you have created in the HTML Page section +info 👉What is the HTML Pages section?

• Image: You can upload images that have been uploaded in Image Repository section +info👉What is the Image Repository section?

• Featured Video/Video Gallery: You have the option to upload video(s) in the Video Gallery section +info 👉What is the Video Gallery section?

• Rooms: If your event has different rooms, you can activate the module and generate direct access to the transmission of each room you choose to show on the home +info 👉What is the Agenda section?

Change the name or hide the module title

For multilingual events, assign a name to each module in all languages. Click the 🌐 button, select a language, edit the titles, and repeat the process for each language in the event.

To change the order of the modules, use the "6 dots" button to drag and drop them into the desired position.
