What are virtual spaces?

Virtual spaces offer an interactive visual environment for attendees to explore everything from location maps of pavilions, stands, stages, and attractions to 3D representations of the venue itself.

How to create virtual spaces 🕹️?

  1. In App & Web > Virtual Spaces > Spaces click on "New Space+".

  2. Assign a name and upload an image with which you want to create the space. 

NOTE🗒️: The recommended measure is 1280px x 1024px in png. format. If the event is only App 📱and not Web 💻we recommend that the size of the image be vertical 1920px x 1080px.



3. To create the different points of interaction in the space, click on the "Location" icon. You can also head over to the Points tab.

4. Chose the space where you wish to create the points of interaction.

A virtual space can have two interactions:

  • Area
  • Point

How to add a "Point"?

  • Click on the "Add New Interaction" and chose the option "New Point". Complete the fields that appear in the pop-up window. Only those marked with an asterisk are required (*).

  • Once you have created the point, it will appear on the image so that you can place it in the exact place you consider appropriate, by clicking on the point and dragging and dropping it (drag & drop).

How to add an Area?

In the same way you have created points, you can create Areas. Areas will allow you to add more space to the action you wish to conduct. You can set it up by following the next process: 

  • Click on the "Add new interaction" button and select the "New area" option.  Complete the fields that appear in the pop-up window. Only those marked with an asterisk are required (*).
  • Once you have created the area, it will appear on the image so that you can place it in the exact place you consider appropriate, by clicking on the point and dragging and dropping it (drag & drop).

IMPORTANT ❗: to adjust the size of the area, click on the first icon called "Edit Layers" located in the upper left corner of the image to adjust the dimensions.

To move the area created, you will have to click on the second icon called "Drag Layers" located in the upper left corner of the image to adjust the dimensions.

How to activate the virtual space in the event 💻

  • First, from the "Virtual spaces 🕹️" section, click on the "eye" 👁️ button:

  • Next, you  must create a "virtual space" type module in App & Web > Modules. Make it visible by activating it in Web Top, App side App lower or App Top. 

NOTE🗒️: If there are multiple virtual spaces in the event, you must activate the Imaps module too in App & Web > Modules so all of them can be visible. This only applies to the App 📱

Landing 🌐

In Registration > Landing activate the module of "Virtual Spaces" and select in the drop-down menu the space that you want to show.

NOTE 📃: the shaded color of the area will be predetermined by the color you have chosen for your event.
