How long does it take to publish an App?

In this article, we indicate, in general terms, the time it takes to publish a native App.

To start the process of publishing your event's App in the stores, the following requirements must be met:

  • Have received the necessary information and graphic materials (check here).
  • Have customized the design of your App (check here).
  • The App must have activated modules and filled with event content (check here).

Once all requirements are met, our developers will proceed to upload the App to the Apple and Android stores, where it will enter a review process that has a different duration for each:

  • iOS - App Store: up to 2 weeks. The total time it takes for an App from when we upload it for review until it is available for download in the App Store can be up to 2 weeks, especially if additional information is requested for review.

This process is external to us and depends exclusively on Apple, so we cannot intervene in its duration.

Depending on the time of year (holidays, periods with a heavy workload for Apple), it may be more or less, but it usually ranges between two to three days in the fastest cases and 2 weeks in the slowest cases.

We always recommend considering 2 weeks for the publication of the App when planning the project timings, although the review process time may be reduced later.

  • Android - Play Store: up to 3 business days. The total time it takes for an App from when we upload it for review until it is available for download in the Play Store can vary from 1 to 3 days.

The Android review process is much simpler than Apple's, so times can be reduced.

Depending on the time of year (holidays, periods with a heavy workload for Apple), it may be more or less, but it usually does not take more than 3 days.
